A univoltine species flying from June to August (Stanisavljević, 2000). Kasparek (2017) reports a flight period from late April to early August with a peak in June and early July.
Parasites: Friese (1921) suppose that the species is the host of the cleptoparasite Stelis gigantea (cf. Kasparek 2013).
