Andrena (Chlorandrena) cinerea BRULLÉ , 1832

An polylectic species,with a preference for Asteraceae pollen (Scheuchl, in prep.) It is also reported to visit Salix (Salicaceae); Taraxacum officinalis (Asteraceae); Prunus cerasifera (Rosaceae).

Males of Andrena cinerea pseudocopulate flowers of Ophrys sicula, Ophrys lutea and Ophrys phryganae (Orchidaceae) (Paulus and Salkowski 2007).
