Colletes perezi Morice, 1904

Polylectic. Müller & Kuhlmann (2008) list the following pollen sources: Tamarix (Tamaricaceae), Resedaceae, Zygophyllaceae, Fabaceae,Citrus (Rutaceae), Myrtus (Myrtaceae), Apiaceae, Alliaceae, Crassulaceae, and Brassicaceae based on 33 pollen loads from 20 different localities.

There are many records of the species foraging at various Reseda (Resedaceae) in Morocco (pers. obs.).

Analyses of pollen removed from Cretan material show that it forages for pollen at flowers of Tamarix smyrnensis (Tamaricaceae) and Ceratonia siliqua (Fabaceae) (Frommer & Kuhlmann, 2009).

Jacobi & Suárez (2018) summarise the visitation records and note that Frommer (in Frommer & Kuhlmann 1993) observed Colletes perezi collecting pollen from Tamarix smyrnensis (Tamaricaceae) and Ceratonia siliqua (Fabaceae) Devalez (in lit.) observed that the species collects pollen from Tamarix sp. (Tamaricaceae) and Schinus terebinthifolius (Anacardiaceae). Jacobi reports visitation to Zygophyllum fontanesii (Zygophyllaceae) in October in the Canary Islands
