Lasioglossum (Hemihalictus) punctatissimum (Schenck, 1853)

Univoltine, with an extended flight period. Females from early April to October, males from mid July to September.

Label data from Spanish specimens shows that females are active from (at least) May to July, and males in May and June (Ortiz-Sanchez & Pauly, 2017). Balzan et al (2017) report females active in April in Malta.

Parasites: No Sphecodes appears to associate with this bee. The species is rarely stylopized (R.C.L. Perkins, 1924b; G.M. Spooner, pers. comm.), presumably by an undetermined Halictoxenus species.

Söderman & Leinonen (2003) suggest that Sphecodes miniatus and, possibly, Nomada furva may be cleptoparasites of this species on the continent.

Westrich (1989) cites Sphecodes crassus and Nomada furva as cleptoparasites of this species.
