A univoltine but long lived species flying from April to September
A disappearing species, connected with steppe-like habitat, noted at only 11 single localities in Poland, mainly in its south-eastern part. Most data and localities are only of historical importance. Polish localities lie beyond the continuous range of the species and are strongly endangered with extinction. The species is protected by law and its locality situated in the Bieszczady Mountains is protected in the Bieszczady National Park.
