Lasioglossum (Lasioglossum) pallens (BRULLÉ, 1832)

A univoltine species with an extended flight period. The overwintering females emerge from the end of April or May, and the males are found in the Autumn.

Label data from a few Spanish specimens shows that females are active in (at least) April to July and males in July. There is also a remarkable record of a male in March (Ortiz-Sanchez & Pauly, 2017).

Parasites: Westrich (1989) cites the bee Sphecodes majalis as a cleptoparasite of this species.
