A univoltine species with an extended flight period; flying from May to August (Stanisavljević, 2000).
Parasites: The bee Stelis breviuscula (Apidae: Megachilinae) and the wasps Sapyga quinquepunctata and S. similis (Sapygidae) are cited as cleptoparasites of this species (Banaszak & Romasenko, 1998).
