Megachile (Eutricharaea) rotundata (FABRICIUS, 1787)

A univoltine species, flying from June to October (Mavromoustakis, 1952). Stanisavljević (2000) gives a flight period of May to September in Serbia.

Fateryga (2017) reports a male seen flying in the Krasnodar region of the North Caucasus (Russia) in June and July.

Parasites: Banaszak & Romasenko (1989) list a large number of associated parasites and cleptoparasites of this species.

These include the cleptoparasitic bees Stelis phaeoptera, Coelioxys elongata, Coelioxys rufocaudata, Coelioxys haemorrhoa, Coelioxys octodentata (Megachilinae).

The wasps Sapyga quinquepunctata (Sapygidae); Gasteruption assectator (Gasteruptiidae); Trichrysis cyanea, Chrysis ignita (Chrysididae); Leucospis dorsigera, Leucospis affinis (Leucospidae); Monodontomerus laticornis, M. rugulosum, M. obscurus, M. aureus, M. montivagus (Torymidae); Melittobia acasta (Eulophidae); Pteromalus venustus (Pteromalidae); Coelopencyrtus manningeri (Encyrtidae).

The flies Anthrax anthrax, Anthrax irroratus (Bombyliidae); Physocephala pusilla, P. vittata (Conopidae); Miltogramma murinum, Miltogramma oestraceum (Sarcophagidae).

In Australia, Melittobia australica (Eulophidae) is a known parasite (Woodward, 1994)
