Univoltine, but with an extended flight period. Females from mid April to late September; males early July to September. Freshly emerged females have been collected in August andSeptember and it is supposed that these were pre-winter diapause specimens and not examples of a partial second brood.
Label data from a few Spanish specimens shows that both sexes are active in June and July (Ortiz-Sanchez & Pauly, 2017).
