Univoltine, with an extended flight period. Females from mid April to the beginning of October, males from late July to mid September.
Label data from a few Spanish specimens shows that females are active from (at least) May to September, and males are active in August (Ortiz-Sanchez & Pauly, 2017).
Parasites In April 1972, C.R. Vardy dug out both a female of this species and a female Sphecodes scabricollis from a hibernaculum or early nest of the former in Hampshire. It therefore seems probable that this rare Sphecodes is a cleptoparasite of this Lasioglossum. Both species have been found flying together at another site in Hampshire, in Dorset and in south Wales (pers. obs.).
In the continental mainland, Alfken (1913) lists Sphecodes monilicornis as a cleptoparasite of this species (cited by Söderman & Leinonen, 2003)
