A univoltine species, flying from late May or early June to August and early September (Matache & Ban, 2006; Stanisavljević, 2000)
Parasites: The following are cited as parasites of this species: Eurytoma nodularis and Eurytoma heriadi (Eurytomidae); Leucospis dorsigera (Leucospidae) (Banaszak & Romasenko, 1998).
