A univoltine species: Flight period in central Europe from April and May to the end of June or July (Smit, 2018)
Host: Nomada braunsiana is a brood parasite of bees of the genus Andrena; Andrena pandellei is a host (Kocourek 1966, Westrich 1989), possibly also Andrena curvungula (Westrich 1989) and Andrena paucisquama (Standfuss and Schwarz 2007).
