A univoltine species. The flight period is from June to late August, occasionally early September (Else & Edwards, 2018)
In Thessaly (Greece), Standfuss et al. (2011) report flight activityfrom April to June
Parasites None recorded in Great Britain, but Nomada fuscicornis is cited as a cleptoparasite of this bee in Jersey (Richards, 1979) and Finland (Söderman & Leinonen, 2003)
