This is a univoltine species, flying from April to June (Mavomoustakis;1948; 1951; 1952; 1953). Amiet et al. (2004) give a flight period from the beginning of June to mid-July. Data from labels listed in Müller (2018) shows a flight period from April to July.
Parasites: Leucospis dorsigera (Leucospidae) was reared from the nests of Osmia ligurica (Baur & Amiet 2000).
