Halictus (Halictus) simplex BLÜTHGEN, 1923

Overwintered females appear in April, and the males fly from June (Gogala, 1999). Late specimens can be found until the beginning of October (Amiet et al., 2001)

Identification This species is part of the H. simplex species complex, and records should be based on the distinctive males

Parasites and predators: Almost certainly the host of the cleptoparasitic bee Sphecodes gibbus.
