Andrena (Holandrena) labialis (KIRBY, 1802)

A univoltine species: early May to mid July, rarely August (Else & Edwards, 2018). In the southern parts of its range it may be bivoltine, with the flight period extending into September

In Thessaly (Greece), Standfuss et al. (2011) report flight activity from May to JUly

Parasites The bees Nomada stigma, Nomada mutabilis and Sphecodes rubicundus are cited as cleptoparasites of this species (Söderman & Leinonen, 2003; Amiet, 2010).

Stubbs (2001) citing Chapman (1878), suggests that the bee-fly Bombylius major may be an inquiline in nests of this species.
