A univoltine species. The flight season is from mid-June to mid-August, and even into September (Stanisavljević, 2000; Matache & Ban, 2006.). Mavromoustakis (1948; 1952) reports activity from April to September in Cyprus. Baldock et al. (in prep.) report flight activity in June Balearic Islands (Spain).
