Andrena (Andrena) fulva (MÜLLER in ALLIONI, 1776)

Univoltine: late March to mid June.

Parasites and predators: The bee Nomada signata is widely reported as a cleptoparasite of this species.

Stubbs (2001) citing Paxton et al. (1996; 1999), suggests that the bee-fly Bombylius major may be an inquiline in nests of this species.

They nest in large aggregations in the soils of gardens, squares, road walks and roadsides (Else 2005, Osytshnjuk et al. 2005).
