Can be either univoltine or bivoltine species. It has one generation per year, in parts of its range, such as the Netherlands (Peeters et al. 2012), and bivoltine elsewhere (Dylewska 1987).The first brood flies from late March to May and the second brood flies in July and August (Dardón Peralta, 2010).
