A univoltine species in parts of its range and flies in July and August (Gogala 1999), but in more southern regions it has two generations, with the first beginning at the end of April (Stoeckhert 1924, Warncke 1976).
Parasites:The species is parasitised by Nomada errans, which lay their eggs in the cells of Andrena pallitarsis (Celary 1995; Amiet 2010).
