Andrena (Zonandrena) flavipes PANZER, 1798

A bivoltine species, partly trivoltine: The first brood flying from mid March to the end of May, and the second from late June to the beginning of September. A few freshly-emerged males have been collected in late May. Individuals of the spring generation are usually far more numerous than those of the summer brood. Mavromoustakis (1948; 1953; 1954) reports activity in February and March to May in Cyprus.

Parasites and predators:
The bee Nomada fucata is well known as a cleptoparasite of this species.

Stubbs (2001) citing Edwards, suggests that the bee-fly Bombylius discolor may be an inquiline in nests of this species.
