A bivoltine species, flying from the end of April to mid-June and the second generation in August and September (Dylewska, 1987). Records from Cyprus (Mavromoustakis, 1953) show a first generation flying in March and April, and a second generation in June and July.
In Thessaly (Greece), Standfuss et al. (2011) report flight activity from March to July
Parasites: Amiet (2010) states that the bee Nomada trapeziformis is a possible cleptoparasite of this species.
