Andrena (Taeniandrena) gelriae Van der Vecht, 1927

A univoltine species, flying from the beginning of June to the end of July in Finland and in Germany. Tomozei (2014) suggests the species is bivoltine, and flies from May to August

Parasites: The bee Nomada rhenana is believed to be a cleptoparasite of this species (Westrich, 1989). The bees Nomada striata and Nomada rhenana are cited as cleptoparasites of this species (Söderman & Leinonen, 2003).

Pheromones: Pheromone analysis has revealed the presence of E,E-farnesyl hexanoate (a marking pheromone) (Tengo J 1975 J. Chem. Ecol. 1: 253)
