Andrena (Melanapis) fuscosa Erichson, 1835

A bivoltine species. The first generation flying from the end of May to early July (much earlier in the southern parts of the range where it can be on the wing in February and March (Mavtromoustakis, 1952; 1954). The second generation flies in July, August and early September (Dylewska, 1987; pers. obs.).

In Thessaly (Greece), Standfuss et al. (2011) report flight activity from March to August

Parasites: The bee Nomada chrysopyga is cited as a cleptoparasite of this bee (Dylewska, 1987; pers. obs.).
