A univoltine species: from late June to the end of August, sometimes early September.
Parasites and predators: Host of the cleptoparasitic bee species Nomada rufipes (Westrich, 1989). Nomada roberjeotiana is also cited as a possible parasite (Söderman & Leinonen, 2003)
