Andrena (Distandrena) distinguenda SCHENCK, 1871

A univoltine species which flies from the end of April to the beginning of June. In north Africa, the flight period is somewhat earlier, and it is on the wing in February and March to exploit the available forage (Scheuchl, in prep.).

Balzan et al (2017) report females active in April in Malta and in Thessaly (Greece), Standfuss et al. (2011) also report flight activity from April
