Apparently a bivoltine species, flying in April and May in the south Alps, and again in June and July into August. The same months were also recorded from the Czech Republic and Slovakia (Kocourek 1966).
Parasites: Nomada lathburiana and, possibly, Nomada trapeziformis (Amiet et al, 2010).
