A univoltine species: early June to the end of August.
Parasites and predators: Host of the cleptoparasitic bee species Nomada obtusifrons and possibly also N. roberjeotiana (Westrich, 1989). Nomada montana is cited in Finland (Söderman & Leinonen, 2003)
