A univoltine species with an extended flight period. In central Europe females fly from early April (sometimes March) to mid October; males from mid August to mid October.
Label data from a single Spanish specimens shows that females are active from (at least) May to September and males from June to September (Ortiz-Sanchez & Pauly, 2017). Mavromoustakis (1948) reports flight activity in May and June in Cyprus
