Lasioglossum (Sphecodogastra) laeve (Kirby, 1802)

A univoltine species with an extended flight period. In Germany females fly from April to early August; males from August to September (F.K. Stöckhert, 1933). Westrich (1989) suggests a lightly different flight period; with the females emerging in early May and the males from mid-July.

Label data from a single Spanish specimens shows that males are active in August (Ortiz-Sanchez & Pauly, 2017) at 1480 m in the Sierra de Guadarrama, Navacerrada (Madrid).
