Univoltine, but with an extended flight period. In Spain, label data shows that females are active from March to at least September and males from June to October (Ortiz-Sanchez & Pauly, 2017).
Few dates are available for the Channel Islands. A female has been collected in mid June and males in late July and mid September.
In the Netherlands, the females are active from May to late August, and the males in August and September. (Peeters, Raemakers & Smit ,1999). Gogala (1999) reports that in Slovenia, females are active from early April, with the males appearing in July; a situation similar to that noted in Switzerland (Amiet et al., 2001).
