A univoltine species: Flight period is from the end of May (in the Crimea from mid-May) to mid- September. There is one unusually small sized female specimen (9 mm long) in the collection of SIZK that was collected in Kiev (Ukraine) on 18.04.1954. Such early flight of this species is probably an artefact.
