Tarsalia ancyliformis Popov, 1935

A univoltine species: Records show the species flies from May to September with a peak (in Israel) from mid-May to early June.(Mavromoustakis 1952; Pisanty, 2016 pers. comm). Mavromoustakis (1952; 1953) reports activity at altitude in July in Cyprus, and suggests the species is bivoltine in Cyprus; the first generation flies in June-July, and the second in August-September.

Parasites: Believed to be the host of Ammobates mavromoustakisi (Mavromoustakis, 1952; 1954).
