A univoltine species. Most populations are on the wing from the end of June to late August, but specimens associating with Colletes halophilus fly from mid August to mid October (Guichard, 1974; Else & Edwards, 2018). Amiet et al (2007) give a flight period in Switzerland from the end of June to late September.
Westrich (2018) reports a flight period of between mid-June to mid-August in Germany
