A univoltine species, flying from early June to late July (Amiet et al., 2004). In The Maghreb, the flight season commences in April (Müller, 2018)
Parasites: Coelioxys osmiae Alfken is assumed to be a brood parasite of Osmia anceyi (Alfken, 1928 cited in Müller, 2018).
