A univoltine species flying from late April to July (records summarised by Kasparek, 2017). Reported to fly in June and July in Serbia (Stanisavljević, 2000)
Parasites: Kasparek (2017)(citing Standfuss et al., 2003) state that this species is the host of the cleptoparasite Stelis gigantea
