Univoltine, but with an extended flight period. The flight period is from May and June to August.
Label data from Spanish specimens shows that the species has some unusual flight activity in Andalucia, Southern Spain. Female activity is reported from October, November, December, February and April, and male activity in May. This may suggest the species is primarily winter active (Ortiz-Sanchez & Pauly, 2017).
