A univoltine species with an extended flight period. Records from Cyprus are from March to June (Mavromoustakis, 1948; Varnava & Stavrinides, 2015). In Spain, label data shows that females are active in May and June and males in June and July (Ortiz-Sanchez & Pauly, 2017).
