A univoltine species; flying from May and June to late August, occasionally into September (Else & Edwards, 2018). Very occasionally early specimens may be found in April (Kasparek, 2015)
Stanisavljević (2000) states that the species is active from June to August in Serbia. Baldock et al. (in prep.) report flight activity in June and September in the Balearic Islands (Spain).
