A univoltine species, flying in the summer months of June, July and August (Banaszak & Romasenko (1989)(copied by Stanisavljević, 2000). Matache & Ban (2006) list a specimen caught in late May in Romania. Amiet et al. (2004) give a flight period in Switzerland from early-May to the end of August
Parasites: Stelis minima (Megachilinae); Sapyga quinquepunctata (Sapygidae); Chrysis fasciata (Chrysididae); Aritranis signatorius, A. confecor (Ichneumonidae); Miltogramma murinum, Digomochaeta setipennis (Diptera:Sarcophagidae) are all cited as parasites of this bee. (Banaszak & Romasenko (1989).
