Hylaeus (Prosopis) confusus NYLANDER, 1852

A bivoltine species in France. It is reported to be bivoltine, with a spring and autumn generation (Janvier, 1972a), but it is not known if this occurs in the British Isles. In UK it is presumed to be univoltine; late May to early September and in Finland it flies from early June to early September (Söderman & Leinonen, 2003)

Westrich (1989) says the species is partially bivoltine in Germany

In Spain, it flies from April to August (Ornosa & Ortiz-Sánchez, 2004)

Parasites This species is believed to be the host of the cleptoparasitic wasp Chrysis comparata (Pagliano & Scaramozzino, 1999)
