A univoltine species, flying from mid-April to July (Amiet et al. 2004).
Parasites: the bees Dioxys tridentata and Coelioxys mandibularis are cited as cleptoparasites of this species (Westrich, 1989). The wasps Chrysis ruddii and C. hybrida are addiotionally cited by Peeters, Raemakers & Smit (1999)
