Lasioglossum (Leuchalictus) zonulum (Smith, 1848)

Distribution; world
A Holarctic species. According to Ebmer (1988), it is widely distributed in the western Palaearctic, occurring in lowland regions of central and southern Europe, from central Finland to Iberia, and Eastwards to Italy. Isolated populations have recently been found in northern and central Greece. The species also occurs in North Africa. In the Nearctic it is known from Nova Scotia to Michigan, Minnesota, Wisconsin and New York (Hurd in Krombein et. al., 1979).:
