In Europe, the species occurs from southern Fennoscandia (Aurivillius, 1903; Elfving, 1968) to Spain, northern Italy, and Bulgaria. There are also reports of it from Asia Minor (Turkey (Warncke, 1974)), the Caucasus and Kazakhstan (Popov, 1934), Iran (Popov, 1967), northern Manchuria (Okabe, 1939) and Morocco (Benoist, 1961).:
