In mainland Europe, this is a very rare species with a few scattered records from Spain (Dusmet, 1913; Schwarz, 1986), Germany (E. Stöckhert, 1930; Westrich, 1989) and Austria, eastwards into central and eastern Europe, Asia Minor and central Asia.
