Bombus (Thoracobombus) pomorum (PANZER, 1801)

Distribution; world
A western Palaearctic species, distributed from Rhineland-Pfalz and Poland, to southern France, Austria and Switzerland, and eastwards to Yugoslavia, Turkey, norther Iran and the the Urals (Rasmont, 1983; Rasmont et al. 1987, and material in the NHML). It has disappeared from Belgium and northern France (Rasmont, 1987). The species has additionally been recorded from Denmark and doubtfully so from southern Sweden (Løken, 1973). Rasmont et al.
