Distribution; world
In Europe this seems to be an "Atlantic species", frequent in the west, but only sporadic further east (F.K. Stöckhert, 1933), where it is known from Czechoslovakia (Kocourek, 1966), Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria and the Ukraine (Dylewska, 1987).:

Although populations are presumed to be small, there is no information available on the size and trends of this species.
