Distribution; world
It is the most widely distributed and commonest Dufourea in temperate Europe, its range extending from Finland (Elfving, 1968) east to the Urals (Nikiforuk, 1957) and south to the Pyrenees; it also occurs at an altitude of 1800m in the Alps (Ebmer, 1984).:
