Mediterranean Europe where it is restricted to Corsica and Sardinia. It was recorded also after the year 1990 on both islands (Bogusch & Hadrava, 2018)

Conservation status: EU - RDB-DD (Nieto et al. 2014). We can reclassify it under the category LC because it is not rare on either island.
