Distribution; world
Europe from where it is endemic species. It is only known from the alpine regions of France, mainland Italy, southern Switzerland and Austria (Gusenleitner and Schwarz 2002). There are also records from the species in Czech Republic and Germany, but its presence in these countries needs to be confirmed:
